FC coolant leak

Replaced my thermostat, and caps for the Rad and bypass, flushed the entire coolant system. I did find a nasty clog in my thermostat housing. But now when i try to start my FC, its not starting, smells like gas and coolant leaks everywhere. BUT ITS NOT STARTING. Do i need to re-do my coolant seals/ rebuild, or is it from the radiator. Im checking where the leak is coming from and its from where the belts/rad/oil cooler sit, but i don't see any wet spots on the water pump, radiator, hoses, neither the block, or other associated parts. Now the one answer i keep finding is coolant seals, coolant seals and coolant seals. Is this true or should i continue to KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid), and replace the RAD, hoses and water pump...

did your car start before you decided to replace the thermostat? the smell of gas should not be present unless you have a leak on your fuel rail or fuel lines.

does it crank at all? maybe you just missed tightening down a hose clamp or did not screw the drain plug on the engine or radiator in all the way.
