fastest way to replace fuel lines?
 

Yep I have 10 feet of 3/8 hose how do I replace the old ones on my 79 rx7 it has sugar in the lines?

Are you trying to replace the hard lines as well? If so 10' probably won't be enough..

You need the hard line and the rubber line.
best to take them off and get measurements or roughly estimate the footage you need and buy it.
I grabbed a 25 foot roll of steel line for my FC and had a good amount left over.

Just for some "useless info",do not use a rubber line directly under the car as it will fail a safety inspection.

PS: did you piss someone off or was it an EX..?

OK well how can I put bigger fuel lines to 3/8 I wanna go bigger? my rubber hose is 3/8

worth a shot here depending "how clogged" they are, but if you already have the material then it hurts nothing. Get some foam ear plugs, and brake cleaner. Shoot brake cleaner into the line, stuff the ear plug in after rolling it in your fingures, then hit it with compressed air 80psi+ I did 140psi.


It will shoot the little bastard out the other side if its not too plugged up. If it gets stuck, oh well, they needed to be replaced. I did this to mine, ran 10 plugs through each line. Came out perfect.

the factory fuel lines are actually 5/16" but if you plan on upgrading your car, and your replacing the steel lines also, mightas well go to 3/8" on everything
