engine stand adapter?

I'm getting ready to do my first rebuild, but I need an engine stand adapter plate (I have an engine stand). So far I've checked out adapters made by Rotary Revolution and Pinneapple Racing. Do you guys know of any others that may have a better deal (I don't have access to the tools required to make one myself).

thanks

I am using one he made(works great), and if he will still make you one, he will beat those prices.

hmm, then pineapple racing lied to me. I asked "Is it absolutely neccessary?" they told me I couldn't mount it without...

banzaitoyota, there is no way to bolt this engine to the stock head stand on my engine stand, the design is just way too different.

erm.....

In my Haynes manual, it simply tells you to fix it to the front plate - then you can strip it down from the rear. using their adaptor, it seems like you'd have to dismantle it from both sides untill you're only left with the intermediate plate
