engine bey cleaning ????

Just wanted to know what's a good product to use?

I had a fuel leak and started the hole fire thing. Im almost finished with getting her back together but with the upgrades i did to her from then to now i don't really want to open my hood with the block looking all grungy and shit. i need some good cleaner the housing are kinda cleaner that strong enough to lift the burnt stains but not eat at the rubber and plastic. one of my friends was saying i should just take it and have it steam cleaned but i thought i should come here and see what every body else is doing to get good results.

unfortunately there s no easy or good way to get out burnt stains without fully disassembling it, the best i could suggest is mask everything off as good as possible and pressure wash it with some degreaser applied.

would a brake or carb cleaner do the job with this mess.

i lost the tmic in this ordeal so i went with a trust fmic and i powder coated the manifolds and filler neck in black crome. the altinator and piping for the fmic will be in black crome also

but that motor needs to be clean again for it to all go together...

carburetor cleaner would work decently but i don't think it would get all the carbon off without some good pressure behind it. hose the areas down and let it sit and dry then blast it again then blast it with compressed air if you got it.
