Is this electric water pump compatible with adaptronic ecu?'
1 Attachment(s)
Hello all,
I was wondering if anybody could tell me if this electric water pump setup would be ok to use with my adaptronic ecu... I know it comes with it's own controller, but thought I'd hear people's input. DAVIES CRAIG ELECTRIC WATER PUMP ALLOY EWP & DIGITAL CONTROLLER EWP115 DC 8050 I attached a pic to show you visual people what I'm talking about. Thanks in advance, Nick |
Why do you want to bypass the units controller? You can have the Adaptronic control the unit, but it would tie up more outputs.

So I can technically just buy the pump and forget about the controller? Maybe Pm me to explain further? Thanks again, Nick |
Thanks for the link, did you end up pursuing this?

My other fd will be using a adaptronic 440 ecu. |

I am actually using the adaptronic 1280 with my 20b. I will getting an integrated water pump (to the radiator) so technically yes I am, but it will not be using the series 6 PNP.
My other fd will be using a adaptronic 440 ecu. Direct Fire = 1 PWM Idle Control = 1 PWM Boost Control OR EWP OR Aux Inj = 1 PWM If running the EWP on the non PWM and just having it at full flow on 40GPM was a possibility I might explore it, since I would have fan control on the adaptronic. I've got 2 regular Aux out hooked up for the low/medium fan speeds, then the AC button for high speed right now. |

I've got a 440 right now. I have one more PWM aux out not hooked up yet, but was exploring the other benefits or ways to utilize it.
