YES, I SEARCHED! =)

After rebuilding the motor and reinstalling the dizzy, I can't get the thing timed properly. I can set leading fine but the training is way off, running the same or more adivance than the leading. Car idles pretty rough (for a streetport) BTW, set the leading at 15 degrees advance. When I move the trailing diaphram, the timing mark does nothing!

What is the best explanation for the correct way to put a dizzy back in....I usually: set the crankpully to 0 degrees, line up the little dot witht the arrow/bar thing on the dizzy shaft, and how exactly should it be set back in the housing?

THis "one tooth off" problem, how to diagnose, how to resolve easily? Just work it over and over like I have been? Pulling, resetting, and hoping for the best?

Any help is appreciated!!!!
