the stock bmw diff is still there i just dont think it will be strong enough for the 13b? its pretty small:dunno:

Are you keeping it NA?

If you're trying to stay cheap, blow up the bimmer diff before upgrading. It might hold. Also, you might try to fab something like the PFS cradle.

I'm not trying to sound like a prick at all, but if this is your only car, what are you going to do during the transplant? Not questioning your abilities or anything, but I sincerely doubt that you'll find this to be a "weekend job" type of task.

Also, I've never heard of bestofjdm.com, but with how high the probability of getting bad rotaries is, I'd go with someone more reputable. Japan2LA is a vendor on this board who does good business. He'll compression test his motors before sending them out if you ask, is a prompt shipper, and has done tons of business with us rotards.

Are you going to use the stock ECU/intercooler/everything? What are you going to do for a radiator and oil coolers? If this is gonna be a DD, you'll want to make SURE that your cooling system is up to snuff on a boosted rotary.

no you arent sounding like one at all, you are just giving your opinion and i understand that./ what i ment was the car will be my daily afterwards so i cant afford the diff goin. and for the colling system, my buddys got that one covered for me we are basically worrid about that rear. i already got a front mount intercooler coming and all. and thanks for the other site ill check um out, but as for bestofjdm.com a few of my buddys got some honda motors and they had no troubles.
