cluth,ignition or what?
 
hey guys , when i trie to turn on my car the car wont start (i think is the starter) but when i press the clutch ..BRAmmm i get running so is not the starter could be the ignition? i was going to take out the starter today but i aint gon waste my time cause i dont think is tha, maybe it is but i need a second opinion:D

i wanned to ask some thing else too when the car is on i hear this noise (that comes from clutch cause when i press the clutch it goes i talk to my friend he told that is the something something lol ya'll know what im saying that it was wear out but i still get ALOT OF POWER and you dont get much power when you clutch is wear out .

my car is a 88-GXL non-turbo, it runs like turbo :D

First of all the car is designed NOT to start without the clutch pressed in because some people forget they are in gear, turn the key, and WHAMO, right into whatever was in front of them.

The noise you are speaking of is most likely the throwout bearing. In the following picture you will see a round thing fit over the input shaft and resting against the clutch fork. That is the TO bearing and it will wear out over time. Change it when you change the clutch.
