Chirp coming from transmission with new clutch install.... HELP?
 

Hey, i posted something similar to this in the Second Generation Forum, but im trying to expand the horizon of my answers. But, when the car is in nutral and just sitting there, idleing, you can hear a little "chirp chirp chirp......"... i called my uncle (retired mechanic.. i forget where though)and he said that the Throwout bearing isnt aligned with the forks or some shit like that, and said that it has to be COMPLETLY REDONE AND ALIGNED... anyone have any input on this? i have only 38 miles on this new clutch install, and i really dont want to take it back to the shop i got it from, they tried to fuck me over ALOT. Any help would be GREATLY apreciated, thank you fellas, i o u.

Sorry, my car is an 88GTU with only 63K... the shop ripped me off.... and i dont want them to get me again.. any one know the answer to any of this? appreciate it alot fellas, later

do yourself a favor,get the car up and see if its coming from the back of the tranny,it may sound like its coming from the front,i had the same thing happen with mine 86 gxl and it was the trans
