Alright i was out for a drive oneday i stopped at my house for a minute then got back into the car to leave again i put the key in the ignition turned it, the motor turned over once and then there was nothing. I persistantly tried and tried it cranked a few times and then it nothing it seemed that it only cranked when i was mashing the clutch down to the floor and wiggled the key a little bit. now when I try there is nothing but a series of light clicks all around the hood. the engine is not siezed i nave replaced the starter and I a lost i need all the help I can get
thanks |
This is an 88t2 by the way

hey, if its clicking make sure you got a good charge on the battery. as for not starting im not sure. maybe its the sensor at the clutch pedal or a bad ignition tumbler. sometime when people have a lot of keys on a ke ring it distorts the tumbler and ends up messing it up. hope this helps.

Thanks I will definately see about the clutch sensor and the tumbler is the ignition switch am I correct
|
yes the tumbler is the ignition switch. also what u might wanna check is to make sure that it didnt flood. when u try and crank it a few times and it doesnt start sometimes your plugs get fouled out and youll never get it started until u unflood it. pm or email if u got anything i could help you with.
