i would first try the simple things. look for any leaks in the line if its the stock rubber one. if none then check the slave cylinder. if neither than pull the trans and check the PB. even the clutch could be busted. i busted mine and it would do shit while running. but check the easist stuff first

well i replaced the clutch, pilot bearing and throwout bearing lsat week and i just ovhauld my clutch mastercylinder, and the rubber hose to the slave cylinder is brand new

2rotorkid 08-07-05 12:11 AM

what would i look for in the slave cylinder?
why would the pilot bearing cause something like this?

I know this sounds stupid, but first thing to check is that there's still fluid in your clutch master cylinder. Sounds strange but I ran 3 sweet runs in my FC33 at the autocross event a couple of weeks ago without a hitch, then parked my car all day in the hot sun, came back and couldn't get it into gear. Popped the hood and I had no clutch fluid. I had to run to the gas station to get some brake fluid to pour in it, then pumped the crap out of it to get it home so I could rebleed the clutch and do it all the right way. Just like you, I redid the pilot bearing, throwout bearing, and clutch about 2 months ago. My only guess is that it either got way hot and boiled out, or I had a slow leak that I didn't know about. I've been keeping an eye on it now.
