what u mean X car?

you dont want to say what kind of car it is?

Oun 01-05-09 08:52 PM

check the footwork parts like bushings, suspension, and alignment. look at what parts they used. drivetrain is prolly pretty beat up. check the diff and tranny. it'll be a hit or miss with the engine since drifting has alot of high revving and low airflow. good luck with your purchase tho

more concerned with who is in your avatar

it should still be ok even if the chassis is warped or its been totalled. you'll get used to the geometry of the car after a few events. work on the reliability mods. cooling is more important than wanting to make more hp. alum. rad, oil cooler, vented hood. reverse vent works better than the TII hood.

Tnx again .... i'm not really gonna drift more of a drag racer

What? I dont understand anything you posted.

What i do understand is you should probably find a better car if you're raising questions about the one you have now.

lol thanks nopistons.

hey jakke, just spend a few days checking out the rotary drag racing section or search.

I'm buying a car (FC r7-x) that was used in drifting and wanted to know what kind of things to look out for or signs of bad damage like in the frame ,steering ,and suspension....
