Broke diffuser inside the primary hole!!

need urgent help guys please,
Basically I broke half the diffuser in primary injector hole and I tried to take it out but I couldn't then end up falling inside the engine I tried to turn the engine by hand i can hear it moving inside then it stuck can turn the engine anymore then I turned the engine using start motor it turn normal with no noise and I tried by hand again after it turn normal and can't hear the bit inside no more so. Don't know where it did go!!

Is that mean the bit pass the engine and ended in exhaust section and the turbo will blow it out or stuck somewhere else really don't know what to do next,
Is anyone before broke diffuser and get away with it or it's defo gonna damage the engine or turbo now??

Cheers

It may help to post your year, model etc... just sayin... :)

If it were me I would try carefully removing the exhaust manifold and turbo and inspecting them for the piece that fell in. Cranking the engine may have ejected the piece out of the exhaust port, but there's really no way to know for sure until you find it. Keep your work area clean and work slowly to make sure it doesn't fall out without you knowing. I'd be surprised if that piece made it as far at the cat, but you may want to consider removing the exhaust and looking for it in there as well. If you still can't find it, try turning the engine over by hand and hope it falls out of the exhaust port while the manifold is off.

Other than that... :dunno:

well, at this point, all may be okay. however, it may not. the only way to confirm to remove the manifold (maybe the downpipe, too, just to look at the blades) and hope you find it there. I know it's old, brittle plastic, but knowing how fast the turbine can spin, I still wouldn't trust it to not cause damage.

for future, if you ever drop something in the engine again, let turning the engine be the last thing you try. pull the intake off and start trying to get it out from there. if it's ferrous, use a magnet. if it's not ferrous, trying a vacuum cleaner with a piece of cheesecloth or something.

Ok pal I did turn the engine by hand few times and it sound normal and turns freely with no noise next setp is to remove the whole exhaust and try to find it ,if I didn't where I might be stuck or fell a part from the engine and the exhaust system, beside if I turn the car n for few second is that might help to blow out the exhaust or check things by hand and remove parts till I find it?
