I have a 12a w/a nikki carb and what to run some juice. Does anyone know is this safe,and how to do it. How much of a shot?:confused:

Nitrous is good as long as you use a WET system. Now, there are ways around this (re-jetting the carb for instance), but I'd never run a dry system unless it's a realllllllly mild shot, like 25hp, and even then it CAN still pop your motor.

Generally, a 75 shot is safe (if wet), and I've seen more than enough people running 125 and even 175 shots with few complaints. It's similar to any other form of forced induction; tune it correctly and it'll last; do it cheaply and it'll destroy your car.

Get a complete kit from a reputabe company (like Zex or Nitrous Oxide Systems), and install it per their reccomendations. Better yet, have a local shop install it If you want the best performance, piece together (or buy?) a multi-port kit. If you want to have some fun, just use a fogger.

Make sure your engine is in excellent mechanical condition. If you've rebuilt it recently, and everything spec'd out good, then go for it. If you haven't rebuilt your engine and it has more than 150,000mi on it, don't expect it to last incredibly long with a 175 shot....
