Beehive oil leak.
 

I bought the o-rings (2) and took my beehive off and it looks like the oil is leaking from between the hive and the aluminum adapter that bolts to the block. My Haynes says not to take these two pieces apart? Can I or why not? Any help with this would be great.

I answered in your other thread. We take them apart all the time without any problems. Could never figure out why they say not to. :)

Thanks I just got worried when I read DO NOT DISASSEMBLE but the RX7 club cane through for me.
Now I have an 84 with no leaks at 110k:) and it don't smell like burning oil every time I pull in the garage!
