Anyone have an opinion about these oil filters?

seems interesting..but I don't think the filters really hold enough heat to require a heatsink on it.. Poor mans oil cooler? I would doubt so. But it certainly looks cool, not that the oil filter is really that visable in an FD anyways..but they do have a "relocation kit", so you can move it up to the spot where the second oil cooler is in the R models (if you have a touring or base). This all seems pretty wacky, if you ask me.

So how about the filtration quality? Anyone heard anything about these guys? They claim they filter out .1 micron particles. Interesting... the actual filter looks like a roll of toilet paper. It can actually absorb any water out of the oil too, kinda interesting.

Interesting!

I wonder why this idea has not come around sooner. It seems very practical. Watch the other makers of oil filters put heat sinks on theirs.

I actually saw a strap on heatsink, that you just attach to a regular filter, but this seems more effective, though I'm not sure it makes a difference at all..

That's one damn expensive oil filter!
