any rear diff gurus out there?

ok here´s the deal.. My Mazda workshop tells me that the differential in my '94 Twin Turbo had gone. They are looking if the pinion is damaged too and so on.... Now I´m not going to buy new one through them, wow... exspensive so I post an ad here about I want to buy a used one... I also found this one on ebay,

Is this the one I´m looking for any thoughts on it.. I´m new here so all info are at great help. Thanks.

i wouldnt mess with any E-bay shit when it comes to something important like that. i would just either get aftermarket from Kaaz or get a New OEM one.

actually obx is a very reputible company. i have a 240 w/ an sr20 and i run an obx manifold and the obx helical rear. only prob is that like any torsen rear it will be loud and noisy and sound like your rear is gonna fall out of the car around tight turns. but in a straigh line...you cant beat it. i've been running mine for about 6 months now. hope that helps

Look into buying a rear diff from someone who already swapped thiers out with a kaaz or TII diff.

In about a month I will have mine available.

My Kaaz is actually more noisy than the stock Torsen-brand one. The clutch plates engaging gives a bit of chatter...as opposed to the Torsen worm-gears where it has a significantly smoother engagement.

The Kaaz are known for 2 things---being near-indestructible, and being extremely noisy.
