Acceleration Problem

I have been working on a 90 RX GXL for a week now and finally got it running ok. But i am still having trouble with the car accelerating... It does fine as long as i dont go around/above half-throttle... I have searched for it and havent found any help... If you guys could help I would appreciate it. :(

Air filter. Check the cheap easy to replace parts first.

Aside from that I'd wager its a vacuum leak or an issue with the ECU probably a TPS. Unfortunately I'm a firstgenner and cannot offer specific help with adjusting the latter.

Switched air filters and no help there... IF anyone has anymore ideas or knows how to adjust the TPS that would help.

Wait accelerating around half throttle? how about full throtle? My friend has problems with half throttle and either had to throttle it all teh way to WOT or not much at all, It turns out he was running extremely lean...this probably isnt your case but if it happened to us, theres always a possibility

check your injectors, espescially your secondary inj's.

they usually don't go out, but the AFM may be shitting itself
mine went out on me over night, once-- just ran the car like SHIT (barely drivable, less than 1/4 throttle to keep it moving)

put a new/used afm in and ran like a champ
