90 Convertible dead?

90 Convertible dead?

Last season I had intermittent trouble, the tach would die but the engine would still run fine...a little loss of acceleration but hardlt noticible. It flooded out a couple times and I went through the new plugs, pull EGI fuse, purge cylinders, plugs in ...repeat as necessary...got it running again fine. Some time later the engine check light came on, would go off as soon as I put the tiniest pressure on gas pedal, still ran fine. It sat over winter and I charged it up to drive again, drove for about 5-10 minutes and it died coming to a stop sign. After some cranking I got it to sputter back to life and drove it another 15-20 minutes bk home. Turned it off and never got it running again. Tried the flooding routine, changed oil this time too, had it idling for abour 5 minutes when it stopped like the key was turned off. I checked spark and trailing is good, leading doesn't seem to have any..however when I pull the plugs to clean each time, it's the trailing plugs that are wet. Also new is a loud clicking from compartment. 2 (solenoids?) in the rail under carb are clicking. The tach needle also bounces with each click..about 3-4/second sometimes intermittent on tach bounce, but steady clicking. Now sometimes I get a sputter like it wants to start but cannot get it idling....any ideas?

Additional info

Found out that the clicking also is consistent with the trailing #2 plug firing...this is with key in ON position. Checked out the ECU today and found a little corrosion on the right side plug as well as inside the board. Cleaned everything out as much as possible with Contact Cleaner. Tried cleaning plugs again and doing the oil in leading, had a brief catch for a second then nothing. Checked the ecu because the floorboards got flooded.
