87 turbo bog out @ 3500-4000 rmp
picked up a 87 turboII, was sitting for a year. Fuel pump was stuck so I put a walbro, changed the clutch master cylinder and it ran except for the bog at about 3700 rpm. completely stock down to the emissions. Please if someone know's what causes this please help, or any shops that are around Inland Empire that ain't trying to get rich off people. By the way heard about boost sensor grounding or testing voltage, if anyone knows about this procedure please help. thanks abaraham.

try reading the FAQ thread in the 2nd generation forum(your car's model)?
it has a smiley face next to it to make it easier to find. |
Thanks, does anybody have a diagram so I can locate the grounds, thank you in advance

the main grounds to check are the one at the top starter bolt and the one under the upper intake manifold that bolts to the rear rotor housing.
also change the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure and pump voltage if the problem persists. |
ive been having the same problem with my t2 swap.. still havent figured it out
