Good luck finding one, and if you do find one good luck at paying a loan equal to one of a house :lol2: Probably more than pretty much anyone on here could afford. Except for the overly privileged

if you are interested you could built a 4rotor engine i'm in the process of building one right now. you just have to be willing to spend a lot of money. i can help you to get in touch with the person who's building it for me.

A proper 3 rotor conversion seems to be in the $15,000 ballpark if you do all the work yourself.

Maybe you should stick to a 2 rotor until you know more about the swap.

AMV racing sells a 4 rotor e-shaft for about 7.5k (on sale :) ).

They have a pic of a 4 rotor on their site. Looks like they use 2 third gen TBs and intake manifolds. Thing is, everything will be custom, intake for the TBs, tuning and ecu, etc. Not to mention getting the thing to fit in the car (subframe, and everthing else).

I'm sure it can be done, its just a matter of how much you're willing to spend. 3 rotor 20b conversions run 25k or more installed in a 3rd gen. Imagine a 4 rotor where everything (including the motor) will have to be custom.

"R26B
The most prominent 4-rotor engine from Mazda was used exclusively for various Mazda-built GT cars (including the 767 and 787B) in replacement of the older 13J. In 1991 this engine in a 787B became the first from outside the U.S. or Western Europe and the first (and so far only) car with a rotary engine to win outright the 24 hours of Le Mans race. It displaced 2622 cc and built 700 hp (522 kW) at 9000RPM. The engine design originates as a single 13B with: an additional rotor and housing added at each end, continually variable geometry intakes, and an additional (third) spark plug. The R26B's engine block can be purchased at retail from Mazdaspeed, but no internal parts are available to the general public."

supposedly you could buy one from mazdaspeed according to wikipedia but I couldnt find it. Just wanted to see how much it would cost, but I guess its one of thos things where If you have to ask you probably cant afford it.
