3 fuel lines, which one is which? 1999 RHD FD
As the title says, inhave what looks like 3 fuel lines, I'm sure one is pressure and one is return, what is the third hose for, is it for fuel tank vent or some shit like that? I don't deal with 3 fuel lines on aircraft, just one main purssure line and that's it.
Remember folks, this is my first car that isn't an old clapped out Honda. |
The third is the vent line.
It goes to a charcoal canister back near the fuel tank. You can find it on Page F-10 of the FSM or Page 198 at the digital version here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz47p6q5Haz8a1o3MTllLVRhLW8/view?pli=1&resourcekey=0-gD3zpfkQtxDC4QX4yLwZCQ |

On the hard lines that are part of the solenoid rack the top line is evap, the front is feed (to FPD), and the rear is return (from FPR). On the firewall side of things the front (sticks out from the firewall the most) hard line is the feed, the middle line is the return, and the rear most line is the evap. I doubt they changed this between LHD and RHD cars. I just replaced all of my fuel hoses with new Gates fuel injection hose, so I just went through the process of tracing them all.
