26j rotary "4-core" engine
 
Now the last post I made about this was closed . I still have alot of questions about this . One man said that the engine cost 100,000 +
well I wanted to know if you can't just buy it . what is the likly hood of making it .
please don't close this thread . I just wannna gain some information .
I know some may say this is a dumb idea or impossible . But I say nothing is impossible

You don't need to make multiple threads on the same subject! Could have just continued your old one. I said 100,000$ that is a price if you were wanting an engine directly from Mazdaspeed formerly Mazdacomp.

Building a 4 rotor engine is something that usually only highly experienced rotary shops undertake. It should not be taken lightly, this is not a sandwhich it is a motor. BTW I beleive Kiwi's kit is based on 12a motor, I could however be mistaken on this one, I am not 100% sure.

does it really seem like a bad idea to undertake this project

13b - 20b 7in more fits in the rx7
20b - 26b what is the likly hood of it fitting well

would you want to do it

I do not take this lightly . If i decide to do this i will take alot of time and put forth the best effort . I will have the help of a few good men . I really do wanna see if
I can do it. BTW sorry about the multiple threads . didn't wanna piss anyone off

They offer kits for both 13B's and 12A's. There is also a a shop in California working on parts to convert to a four rotor or short three rotor.

yeah, i think so. the scoot 4 rotor was two 12a's put together. i have been waiting for an update from www.4rotor.com for sometime now, and nothing since 2005 *sigh*

just watch this video of a 4 rotor and how the intake sticks out of the hood. the owner is from down under, i had a magazine with this FD in it, but cannot find it. now this shit gives me goosebumps yo!
