1st gen drive shaft

i have a 1st gen 83 rx7 and can some one please tell me how to get the front u joint out

I'm pretty sure the stock 83 drive shaft has non-serviceable U joints. Mine appeared to be welded in, no clips. I got an entire replacement shaft from Racing Beat for a decent price AND it has replaceable U joints.
