1979 rx7 12a wiring issue

Hi. I have a few questions about my 79 rx7 12a. The previous owner had attempted to install msd boxes but was not successful. So the car would not start. So I removed the boxes and wanted to wire it back to the normal way not using the msd boxes. I noticed that there were plugs that would not match up. For example, the distributor condenser wire, brake fluid sensor, oil sensor, etc. Some of the plugs don’t match up to any of the plugs that I’m able to find or see. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

welcome to the board. :)

first, you can start with getting a copy of the FSM at Foxed.ca

locate the wires that you are missing connections for, and see what colors they are, then look if you can match them.

do you see any evidence of wires that have been cut in the area?

Hi. Thanks for the response. There was a couple wires cut but I was able to match up 2 of them. There is 2 that were cut that I’m working on. The sensor under the oil filter housing, is that an oil temp sensor or coolant sensor? They have a yellow wire going to it. And the distributor condenser, has a yellow wire as well. These 2 wires were spliced. I’m looking into them. Thanks
