You have a sensor on the front of the throttle body called the TPS. It has three wires. One of theses wires is Green/Red. W/the car fully warmed up (20 -30 minutes of driving time) and key to on the Green/Red wire needs to read 1 volt. The throttle linkage that rests up against the sensor's plunger has a screw encased in a spring measuring about an inch in length. This is the adjustment screw to dial in the 1 volt reading.

The TPS has three wires. One of them is Green/Red. After the engine is fully warmed you measure the voltage on the G/R wire w/key to on. It needs to read 1 volt.

The screw incased in a one inch spring is for the TPS adjustment. Your problem is either manifested by an improperly TPS or a vacuum leak. Which is it? I don't know as you'll have to find this out yourself.
