13BTT or 20BTT in a FC
 

im new to the rotary engine and i need ur help. i have a 1990 mazda rx7 and i want to know what would be the better swap for it i read this about the 20B:
Potential power outputs:
The standard power output of a 20B turbo is 280HP.
With turbos removed (naturally aspirated), these engines produce 250hp stock, 320hp if ported.
Apparently with the mere addition of a boost controller the power jumps to around 400HP

I wanna know if that is possible to make 400hp with just a boost controller. I also wanna know if it is worth the almost 4Gs for the 20B. where would i also get performance parts for it aslo

The 13b sounds simpler swap 2 to because there is a lot more options that u can do wit it plus it is under 2gs

also what would i need to get(parts wise) to put both motors in

if you are new to te rotary engine (like stated above) i would not consider the 20B route without some serious knowledge of what you are doing , use the 20B forum for some research , there is lots of info there

second, 400hp cannot be just done with a boost controler

i have over 11k, yes eleven THOUSAND dollars into my big single turbo conversion in parts alone. There are people here with many many times more than I, and its always climbing

They both cost loads of money to stick into that chassis. Plus no one craving power keeps the twin turbos on either of those engines.

A boost controller will only get you a rebuild, you need supporting mods to keep it safe. Its no eclipse.
