13b-re people i need your help.

ok im doing a RE swap and im planning to run a tial q 50mm bov

being as i dont have the motor in car and ready to run yet

i could use a little help with idle vac soo i can figure out a rough idea on what spring to use

im running hopefully 10psi for a while till this things tunned well enough that i can bump it up

and a 65 trim t04r turbo

i hope that little bit of info can help someone help me in getting the right sized spring

Do you mean wastegate? I think 50mm will be overkill for 65 trim.

no this is about the 50mm Blow Off Valve

Ask TiAL directly. They asked my application and boost level before selling me a BOV. I don't know what the spring force is, but it works great.

well i asked them directly and the said a 6pound or 7pound spring is the usual for rotaries but i just dont want to start it up and have to worry about surge from the start i mean mind you its a cheap obx turbo and im going to be drifting with it soo its gunna take a beating regardless but i dont want to have to worry about surge and wait on a new spring to come soo if anyone can suggest either the 6 or 7 pound spring over the other that would help more likely.

Well usually their use to little 18yr old kids asking what bov spring for their stock 13bt. A re with a T04R is a little different.

As long as your running a proper size wastegate, the 10lb spring should be fine.

10lb spring for the blow off valve?
