13B cad drawings wanted

I have been trying to find external cad drawings of 13B engines and trannies, but have come up dry.

I'm looking for genII and genIII 13B, and the corresponding manual transmissions. .dwg and .dxf formats are good. Anything similar on the Renesis 13B would be ideal, but I'm not holding my breath.

I mainly need scalable external drawings, with or without accessories. I've only got a 2D cad program, so I'm looking for views of the top, front, side, etc.

Thanks

Dan

good luck. i know some people were working on rotors but as for a full motor......maybe if i had a lot of spare time and/or an imaging device.

Anyone who is willing to put that much time in making one up isn't just going to give it away. You might offer to pay $$$$ and then negotiate the price privately. Might be cheaper than you think.

Maybe i shouldn't have dropped out of CADD in college this past fall ....

OK. I get it. I didn't think it was an unreasonable thing to ask. I'll keep looking, and if I don't find it, I'll do it myself.

I'm just trying to avoid re-doing something that's GOT to have been done before - by more than one person. I'm also trying to get some basic dimensions before I go out and buy parts that may not fit where I want to put them. Someone MUST have studied the viability of a rotary swap project on "paper" first before they tried the shoehorn and BF hammer approach.

I'm not trying to get enough detail to make my own castings or produce slick 3D renderings, I'm just trying to model the basic silhouette and mounting interface.

Is there another sub-group out there where fabricator types hang out?

Thanks

Dan

The fabricator types hang out in Rotary Performance, Single Turbo, Race Car Tech, and this forum a bit too.

most of *knowing* what will fit and what wont, and what is interchangable with what, comes from experience/ hands on/ practice. ;)
what exactly are you looking to do? there are many people on here that can tell you what will work and what wont.
