13 b Compression verification
 
I have a 1986 13 b rx-7, I just get rebuilt the motor with a friend of mine. We check the compression with a regular pressure gage remove the check valve. I got 70 , 70 and 15 psi on the first rotor and 65, 65 50 psi on the second one. The car did not want to start, it never run yet . Is it possible that the 15 psi testing on the rotor do not permit to start the motor.

Which way should I begin to solve this problem

I am not sure about the wiring between the coil and the spark plug also. some body have this information.

What is the poll part for? You want people to vote on what you think the problem is? As far as the coil wiring, the front coil pack goes to the leading plugs (the lower set of plugs) and the rear coil pack goes to the trailing plugs (the upper set of plugs). You will have to get a manual or something to see which post goes to the front or rear rotor spark plug. I don't know if your coils are installed in the stock location or not, but thats how mine are.

This is my first experience on a forum, what does means the poll part? when i get trough this section of the form i didn't know the signification.

You created your question, but you also made a poll. At the top of this page, you see where it says VOTE? It give us the option to vote on the two items you typed. The first item is: 13 b wiring coil vs spark plug
The second is: 13 b compression vs start the motor
Next time you create a question, AKA thread, read the options more carefully and it will explain what is what.

OK so you rebuilt the engine, now it will not start. 15 is very very low.... are you sure you put it together correctly?

To try to help it start, try putting a small amount of oil into the engine through the spark plug hole, then put the spark plug back in, and try to start it.

Did you use new rotor housings and seals? If not, that could be part of the problem. I'm rebuilding my engine with all new housings and seals, and I expect the compression to be in the 120's when it's fully broken in.
