1.3 and 1.6 or 2.3 and 2.6?
 

Aight I this has been buggin me for the longest time and I dont know whether or not to believe it. The RX7 I have is a 93TT J-spec. The title says its a 2.6L some ive seen with 2.3L. I dont know how I can find out if it is a 2.6 or a 1.6 or 1.3 or what the hell ever. If there is anything anyone can provide me with that would be great. Thank you!

based on air injested in relation to a turn of the crankshaft it is 1.308 L.

because piston engines are 4 cycle and the rotary is a 2 cycle (in that it has a power impulse on every passage of the rotor face past the sparkplug) the rotary should be considered to be similar to a 2.616 liter piston engine. that's 160 cu inches.

160 cu inches, run 84 pounds per minute of air thru it w some pump gas and methanol or race gas and you make an easy 690 flywheel hp.

that's 4.31 flywheel hp per cu inch...
