Ramy do you think you could get a group buy going on these?

Scrub 01-13-08 08:50 PM

from which company? RE-Amemiya?

FDZero 01-13-08 09:23 PM

I'd be interested. I think they're all the same design (?). The only CF versions I ever seen were the replica ones (of the OEM molds at least) from Rotary Extreme.

RE aka Rotary Extreme also made these, but I would be down for a pair or Amemiya scuff plates.

Juiceh 01-14-08 03:39 PM

Is there any kind of insignia on the CF ones? Are they available in plain or twill weave?

wishbanzai 01-14-08 03:53 PM

Very interested. If they come in at a good price I can sell my aluminum ones.

Scrub 01-14-08 04:20 PM

Forget the scuff plates, lets start a carbon fiber monoque chassis group buy, yeah?

RXtacy 01-15-08 02:59 PM

You got a feel for the price Ramy?

XxMerlinxX 01-15-08 03:33 PM

RE雨宮 ftw. I'm interested.

Et3rNaL 01-15-08 05:06 PM

I'd be interested depending price

RoninRX7 01-15-08 07:31 PM

do these fit an FC or FD? Id buy some if i could get an FC set!

FDNewbie 01-15-08 09:46 PM

Why are these FC guys always playin like ANYONE still makes stuff for their car?! :p: Sorry dude, but there are no FC scuff plates to my knowledge. If one of you guys actually has one (in any material, aluminum, CF, whatever), I'm sure I can replicate 'em, given they've all been discontinued... But that would need to go in a diff. thread; this one's for the FD scuff plates.

As far as price, they're both in the $200some range. That'll give you an idea. As always, I won't quote an exact price until I see enough interest, so lets get a list going, and we'll go from there.

Thanks,
~Ramy

Hey man, there are still some of us building FCs! I'd get some scuff plates for my FC if they were available!

Ramy posted both as options, so I stated which one I'd want. They just put a little tiny sticker on with the company name, as you can see in the picture. I wouldn't be surprised if the skid plates are made at the same place.

RXtacy 01-16-08 02:06 PM

I'd want RE-Amemiya cause its got that mad tight extra jdm ish with the japanese characters yo. :D seriously though it really doesnt matter to me.

13bmaniac 01-16-08 02:54 PM

im up with one set if there is enught interested and the price is right.
soo.. put me on the list

FDZero 01-16-08 06:44 PM

I'm game if Ramy says around $200! The ones from Rotary Extreme were replicas and were $150+ something if I recall correctly. So a little more for an authentic JSpec brand is fine with me (FEED or RE-A....)!

Juiceh 01-16-08 08:21 PM

They should be under $175 + shipping that appears to be the current going rate for them from what I've seen.
