So just a question, if we get 5, how long will it be?

 

Knightsports parts are actually obtained fairly quickly compared to other orders. I'd estimate approximately 1 month from the GB closing date.

 

I noticed that under the payment terms there is NO REFUNDS. What does that mean?
What if I decide to cancel it because it's taking too long to get the 5th person can I cancel it? I am willing to send money right now, but I will like to have the option of having my money back if it doesn't fall through or it's taking way too long for this to happen. There is only a $100 difference between the GB price and the FDnewbie Imports web site price which I'm willing to pay if it takes too long.

Also is the KNIGHTSPORTS COMBO LIGHT HARNESS included in this kit? And if not do we need this?

 

The GB IS going to happen, so there is no need to discuss that. With your payment we'd have 5, as I already have a confirmed 4th order.

Totally different; that's for the combo lights (turn signals), not the headlights.

 

I guess that makes 5 then, b/c I just sent you the cash.

Gordon should be #5 for the HIDs only.

 

I am in for the Standard light kit. I would love to have the HID; but not sure if it is worth the extra $$$... Someone please help me make up my mind to see if the HID is that much better!!! After I ge tsome feedback I will shoot some cash...

Okay, so I read the whole thread and did a little research... I don't think the HID upgrade is needed. Now I just want to know how long until the order is placed if I send the $$$...

I know this may be a long shot BUT is there any way possible to get the Knightsports kit for an FC? I know they use to make it but from what I heard it’s been discontinued. If you can do this I would be 1000% in on this GB if you can get it for an FC!!!! PLEASE let me know.

 

To answer ur question, the IPF light used in the kit are 4 inch wide. but looking at the housing of the light ur thinking of, it won't fit.

here's some pics i took this weekend while dismantling for IC install. May help make up ur mind about the HID (if havn't). Personally, if i were to buy it again, i'd get the HID upgrade to have a cleaner HID setup rather than DIY.

Easy I hope, but it looks like its gona be one of those shoot from the hip kind of things...

 

If I were even going to ATTEMPT such a GB, I'd need need a) a thread started in my section, and b) a good # of ppl PREPAID with deposits, because if I could manage to get Knightsports to make a batch of the FC lights for me, it would be a personal favor, and I'd HAVE to come through - and in a BIG way. So go ahead and get an interest thread going, but keep in mind it won't go ANYWHERE until I have prob SEVERAL deposits (which I'd post up on once I see enough interest).

Yep. The kit itself isn't any different whether or not you get the HIDs.

Clint, this GB is closing THIS WEEK. I'm waiting on one for-sure order to come through (I'm assured it will be done today), and then I'll be closing it. So if you wanna join, I'd strongly suggest you join immediately. We won't be keeping the GB open for much longer.

Is that what the bulbs look like is my question... or are they HID? I have read ifo about fog lights... Just trying to get a mental picture of the exact look of the bulbs them selves... If they are standard bulbs in the kit that link posted then i am good to go... Let me know.

Ralphy, I only accept payments via the methods outlined in the post re: payment methods. I'm not set up to take payments over the phone...sorry. But you can easily send Payment via credit card, check, bank account, debit card, whatever via Paypal.

As I mentioned, you can use your Visa via Paypal.
