FS: 100% Genuine FD Mazdaspeed MS-01s rims w/ polished lip! AWESOME CONDITION!

I'll make this short & sweet guys. These are the rims that have LONG been discontinued, and SUPER hard to find. And these are the SUPER RARE late version, w/ the polished lip. I can't even BEGIN to tell ya how few of these were ever made & sold. Good luck finding another set. I've been sitting on 'em for quite a while now, but I decided to go a different route, so they're up for grabs.

Location: In stock (ship from Japan via 6-10 day EMS)
Price: $2650 SHIPPED, insured, to your door
Pics: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-6/751536/2121987

Questions welcome. Lowballs aren't ;-) I know what they're worth, and these are practically a STEAL in this condition.

Thanks,
~Ramy

Damn those look nice!

FDNewbie 01-22-10 10:45 AM

Thanks Richard. Nice quick edit btw haha ;)

You noticed! Damn thought I was faster than that!

Neo 01-22-10 11:29 PM

Yes, they're nice. Defintely give the FD a nice "tuned" look.
But I'm pretty sure adding these rims to the car are going to hurt performance more than improving it...
Still, really nice rims.

If I'm not mistaken, these should be the same ones that are available for the RX-8?

It doesn't matter it's completely irrelevant. Why he even said that I have no idea. Anytime you change unsprung weight you will change performance characteristics.

On with the sale! Beautiful wheels.

moosejaw 01-23-10 11:28 AM

I guess the only way to avoid hurting performance is to keep stock rims?
BTW a real nice set of wheels Ramy. GLWS!

Mazdaspeed wheels

Hi;

Would there be any fitment issues with these wheels? I have a stock fender well.

Thanks

Jim

Jim,

these are made for FDs by Mazda... Usually this means it will run with stock fenders without any issues.

But to confirm, I ran this width and offset in 17s without an issue (both front and rear)... But of course you its also pending what size tires you run.. If you go crazy wide and tall up front, you will have issues no matter how correct size and offset wheels you get... But far as these wheels, no.

The wheels look terrific, my only concern being 18". Does anyone here run 18" and if so do you have any clearance issues, rubbing etc. With the stock fender well?

FDNewbie 02-07-10 09:38 PM

Jim, a bunch of us run 18" wheels, w/o any clearance issues whatsoever. Just pick an appropriate size profile (30 - 40, depending on the tire width you get).

Jim, as Ramy states above you'll have zero issues if you choose the appropriate sized tires. Larger wheel means smaller tire sidewall.

Rubbing issues come down to the wheel offset, and in this case they're fine for stock fenders.

For these wheels, 235/40 Front and 265/35 Rear would work pretty well.

Hi guys;

Thanks for the replies. Just don't want to waste money buying the wrong wheel size.

Jim

FDNewbie 02-08-10 09:04 PM

Jim, no worries. Completely understandable. This is not a generic wheel made by Mazdaspeed; it's an FD3S-specific wheel made by Mazdaspeed. So you won't encounter any fitment issues whatsoever.
