First we need to place the order when one of our contacts frees up, then the order will ship to the US, then we will redistribute it. We'll keep everyone in the loop with where we are.

 

That's a very roundabout way of not answering the question. I think the response we are looking for is something like...

The group buy ended on 1-14-07
We plan to place the order on 1-xx-07
Estimated ship date is 2-xx-07
Shipping time is 7-10 days so they should be here in the states on 2-xx-07
So you should expect to get your handles by the end of February

 

Technomotor, then the simple answer is - as usual - we will post available information as it becomes available. If you don't press people for answers they don't have, you won't end up w/ roundabout answers I ALWAYS update threads and buyers as soon as is absolutely possible. If we don't have an update, that's b/c there isn't one. So in the meantime, we'd greatly appreciate your patience.

Apparently prices went up significantly for the new year. FDNewbie and I are working on a solution to keep the price the same. We'll keep you updated.

Guys, please exercise some patience. A GB isn't exactly known for expedience, it's intended to save everyone some money by doing a large order. Believe me when I say that everyday we work on this GB.

I know you guys would rather have ETAs and updates of exactly what's going on and I have no problem doing this, but everyone seems to forget about the E (estimated) and starts complaining when complications come up. In fact we were ready to place the order until we found out about the new prices.

The past week we questioned another distributor about the prices and he confirmed the new prices. Right now we're ordering samples of each side to make sure it's the right part and the price increase isn't because they're packaging the handles with extra pieces (say locking cylinders for example).

If you're really dieing to get out of the GB you're welcome to sell your spot.

Guys just settle down, subscribe to the post and wait patiently. I can assure you that those running GBs will always provide pertinent information as soon as it is made available to them. I cannot stress how important it is to subscribe to GB threads so that you know what is going on. It is also common courtesy to make sure that you read the thread thoroughly before you start flooding these poor guys with PMs.

I would like to get in on this.. Is this the outside of the handle too or just the handle itself??

 

First we want to confirm these are the parts and they didn't just switch part numbers or package items together then we'll talk about price. I know that's vague, but we don't like to state anything unless it's certain. I can tell you that we will still be beating the dealer prices by a long shot.
