Private Invitation to Sepang (Fri 23rd Feb)
Greetings from the Singapore RX8 Club (www.rx8club.com).
We have arranged for a closed track session at Sepang on Friday 23rd Feb and would like to extend an invitation to any track enthusiasts who might like to come along.
The RX8 club will have 10 vehicles attending and we have slots for 20 - 25 more vehicles on a first come first served basis. Note that this is a private, closed track event.
Track Time: 1pm - 3pm
Cost: RM$300.00 per vehicle and RM$2000.00 for timing services (the RM$2000.00 will be divided by the total number of cars attending). Based on 30 cars, it will be roughly SGD$161.50 per vehicle (estimate) for both the car charge and the timing charge.
Payment: I will arrange for payment to be made directly to Sepang as I do not want to handle any monies
Itinerary: Meet up at 6am at Kallang Carpark. We leave for the causeway at 6.45am sharp. Pls do not be late - the earlier we get to the causeway, the better. We will rendevous in JB (rally point will be briefed prior to leaving Kallang) before heading up the highway as a convoy. Pls bring along walky talkies if you have them. ETA to Sepang would be roughly 12pm for lunch before track briefing at 12:30pm. Convoy will be split in 2 after the track session, those wanting to stay overnight in KL and those driving back on the same day.
Optional: If enough people indicate the need to - I will arrange for a trackside mechanic to be present in case of vehicle breakdown.
