Supra Headlights
there are 3 separate fixtures in the Mk IV headlights (2 projectors and a reflector).
this brings me to my question, does anyone know what each is? i assume the reflector fixtures are high beams (red), and the projectors toward the inside of the car are the low beams (blue). what are the far outside projectors (yellow). http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...an50/supra.jpg |
... You know this is a Rx7 forum, right?
... What is the plan? |

there is alot of myself and Chudsoncoupe trying to diagnose his lighting issue, but the stuff that you would prolly want to read is in the beginning
(ps 300 posts yay!!!!) |
that supra headlight implemented into a FD headlight would be really nice. Something you can emerge into your other headlight thread ideas. I like it alot.

I thought far left ( yellow) are parking light. I could be wrong, cuz my brother have a supra too, and it didn't seem to be bright enough to be fog light.
|
ive got a couple ideas, ill keep you up to date
|
they would be some unique lights if you can get it done

i think i am gunna have a high, low, and fog lights in the headlight housing. and you would just use the wires for your fog lights. the reason is that im not a fan of the foglights screwed to the lip of the bumper and realistically (while not a huge amount) it will allow more air to the IC and engine bay. honestly though, it is more based on aesthetics. |
i am exploring several options in my journey to make a better sleek kit. one of which is using the evo r projectors. does any one have pictures of the rvo r projector's cut off? and over all lighting?
also one route i will explore (the more promising one) will be using the projectors/reflectors out of another car. that way even thought the lights themselves are not DOT, the lights will be out of a DOT headlight. this way it will have the correct patterns. my objective in this project is to offer a sleek kit with great fitment, great lighting quality and a great price (as well as looking good). |
Nice FD, but doesnt having the plate where it is block 90% of the FMIC, which kind of makes having a FMIC pointless?

AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! ZOMBIE THREAD!! (cuz its back from the dead. lol)
