New Toy!
I've been adding tools over the last year or so since I have my own space/game room. Here is my latest addition, an MSC mill, almost 7' tall, 3 phase, digital read out, auto feed, rotary tables and a bunch of other fixtures.
I bought a chunk of aluminum just to make it into a bunch of chips... because I can. I know... I suck. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...ket_97054_.jpg |
so jealous.. what do one of these cost?
and whats a msc mill? |
MSC is the brand. I have $2800 in this one because the digital read out adds some value(they run about $900 new)and the extra fixtures I got with it, but it needs a little work. I've seen them without the extras for around $1500.

Congrats, should have some fun/frustration with that lol.

I thought everyone had one?....
;-) Congrats on a new toy! GD |
I've had a few around town that I could use but never my own to love and cherish. I had a Southbend lathe that would swing a 24" face plate but I had to let it go when I sold my concrete company and had no place to put it. Looking for a geared head lathe and an English wheel next. I'll probably build my own wheel frame and get wheels from Hoosier Profiles.
I though about a nice metal brake but I have a friend that has 4 of them along with shears, Diacro punches and just about anything else to shape metal, and I have a key to his shop so why take up my space? |
