custom radiator options?

hey iv been looking at starting my custom v-mount and finding intercooler cores is easy but what about radiator cores or who have people gone through to do thier custom setup. what i want is like a twin or triple pass crossflow radiator, most likely twin. all the ones i see are usually from something else modified to work with ours which isnt a big deal i guess im just looking for someting specific...unfortunatly i dont know what it is yet im just not liking the ones im finding most are still the pressed endtanks im looking for something closer to the koyo or fluidyn endtanks that arent pressed. i dont know maybe its just me. if anyones looked into this any info please?

I went through Griffin when I needed a rad for my custom VMIC. I got a list of core sizes and flows from them, end tank options and told them exactely what I wanted.

The mounting I was unsure of so I had them leave it blank. Since then I have welded on four bungs, four 1/4" thick threaded plates across the saddle for mounting the shroud and a -6 male bung for draining.

I like Griffin. I would never deal with PWR again.

i was looking at them or possibly a custom fluidyne. mind if i ask what flow limits you were going off of? and what size you ended up with? im going to be getting measurements here later today. mind if i ask how much it ended up costing you? i know griffin has some pretty nice prices.

Spoke with them at length and started with thier drop in replacement for the FD. Since I have FD twins and an FD wp assembly, I figured that would be a good starting point. The core size I believe is ~22x20. It's stuffed between the frame rails (this is in an FC btw) Total cost I believe was around $250.

I've done more welding on that rad that Griffin did assembling it though. Like I said, all the mounting bungs I TIG'ed on, as well as a few supports for the shroud, and a -6AN drain. Also had to cut off the upper hose and reweld it on @ 90*. Something that I thought I would be able to avoid, otherwise I would've just had them do it.

They're really great to deal with. No doubt about that. They'll build you anything that you want.
