How to fill floorboard holes on the cheap
I was at harbor frieght the other day and came up with this. I think its a simple solution to an annoying problem; which is welding all those holes shut so the outside stays outside lol. Most people probably won't care but it might keep someone from wasting hours of their life welding.

OR you can get some Bondo and the mesh tape that goes with it. 5 minute fix for relatively cheap.

bondo and mesh tape? sounds like a pain in the ass to me..... pop rivets are super easy every hole in the floor board filled in like 7 minutes.

Adding the RTV is a good move to keep it weathertight. Nice...easy...

you guys had it all easy :) , took sheet metal over top the hole i had and welded it down

For FACTORY holes, panel bonding adhesive and a small patch is the way to go. For RUST holes, the rust must be cut out and a patch panel welded in place.

for a smooth look just spray foam, sand smooth, rattle can

Whats wrong with welding them shut?

I really like the rivet idea. Super easy and cost effective. Good choice skidtron. Personally i welded mine shut cause i have the time and access to all the necessary equipment.

Using rivets is the best way to go, works like a charm.
