eric i dont know if i drift with my car there and the 200 euro are not so realy cheap. but its a little bit time till this event.

i want to drive this year a few dirtbike races and have a lot of work on my cars and bikes to do and i dont know when i should do this all lol

 

LOLz hey kron. I want out to the garage and found that some of the sensors were unpluged and the water temp sensor was broken clean off at the metal. I left it on the table for you to see. L8r

 

Got the Orange car fixed and out of the shop. It was running like a champ until I tried to start it this morning. Its droping a CAS FAILURE error now. Ohh well time to break out the multi meter.

 

Well the CAS failure code is gone but now its like the starter is disconnected

Do you mean it is not turning, not catching or just plain missing. I know there is a wire that goes to the starter that is a fusible link and if it goes out... it acts as if someone stole your starter.

 

It would be not turning. If there is a link known to spontaneously go out that would make sense. In fact it’s acting just as you describe. Unfortunately the last few days have been long shifts and have not had a chance to jack the car up and go over the underside. I seem to have a few exposed vac nipples on the intake manifold too that I'm leery of. Oh well one problem at a time..

LMAO! I went out for a drive today and made it to K-town, then turned around to pick up AF and by the time I got to Landstuhl it was snowin' for all it was worth.....I decided to go home and when I got there it was sunny again.........MAKE UP YOUR FRIGGIN' MIND GERMANY..........

Ok...Due to me removing myself from the GSF forum any buisness with this chapter of the club (or at least any buisness with me) should be handled in here. This is not to say that you guys can't use the other forum, but I am done there so I wont be posting anything there any more.

Bad news after letting the 7 sit for 2 weeks while I fixed the damage the wife did to the body i'm magicly running on one rotor now. Changed my fouled plugs after I spoted that Josh used four Trailing spark plugs....... Now not only do I now have a car thats 3 colors but I have a mystyery problem now. The engine was flooded in one housing and I used my Rteks flood clear to cure that. I cant realy hear my fuel pump when I first stick the key in..... Shoot me now...

Basicly this AF member says they cant drift in Okinawa cuz the AF said no AF can drift. Not even sanctioned events

 

Ok I joined that forum, but I can't post yet. Anywho, when I was there from 90 to 92 it was a friggin' free for all. I am sure that they we're getting tired of scraping GI's off the pavement because they thought that owning a fast car automaticly makes you a pro race car driver. There was a lot of stupid accidents while I was there. But as far as not even being able to attend sanctioned event.....that sounds like bullshit to me. I could see them not being able to participate, but restricting attendance is a little much. And as far I know, unless they built another track (which is VERY unlikely due to the size of the island) there is only one (legal) track to go to. Other than that there are just a handfull of spots to drift at....one near Nago, Takiyama, and one on the northwest (?) side of the island and that one leads to the aforementioned legal track. The spot near Nago is hot as hell though. There's a go-cart track/ video game arcade/ food joint at the bottom of the hill with a parking area next to the last turn......HOTNESS!

 

Oh and about your 1 rotor problem. Did you let it run far a bit? When I got back from the states last summer after being there for a couple of months my coupe did the same thing and I let it run far a bit and the other rotor finally got its **** together and kicked in. It farted out some smoke and then it was good to go. If you didn't do that try it and see if it works and if not then after I get off work tomorrow I'm cruise by and take a look at it.
