what are advantages of Haltech on. . .

a stock turboed car? I'm debating on whether I want to plan on getting a Haltech or Wolf (not trying to start a war here) system sometime next year. The thing is, I'll most likely either have my stock turbo, or my 89 turbo upgraded to something a bit more powerful.

Are there any HP gains to be found by moving to such a system? Would my FCON then be obsolete? Basically, I'm looking for reasons to convince me to put this on my wish list. . .

TIA,

Biggest reason is if you plan on modifing your car substantially, even if it is slowly.

Would it help on a stock car? I think it would. First you can ditch all of the useless junk on the engine to make it more reliable. Second, you can tune it specifically how YOU like it and you can use whatever injectors you want.

Basically, FLEXIBILITY. I LOVE it. You also learn a LOT about the car if you do the install and/or if you have it for a while.

Yes the F-Con will be obsolete but you can sell it https://www.rx7club.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
