REDOM ecu identification

Is anyone able to identify/shine some light on the ecu in my car?
Pic attached of sticker.

From what I see

RE Amemiya
Type B ROM tuned ECU
Sports Muffler Plus
ID Number 10061318
Turbo- "power expander" option checked (highflow?), "normal" option not checked
Primary turbo boost limit 1.1 kg/cm2 (15.6psi), secondary transition boost limit 1.0 kg/cm2 (14.2psi)
ROM Type N6-F75CC-B73N

Just replied to your other thread in the Adaptronic forum.

Keep this. As long as you see AFRs on target once your wideband comes in, this is going to be a great setup for your nearly stock car.

Cheers,

That's awesome, thanks so much! So glad to know what the tickbox options were, for some reason I was thinking it had something to do with injector size.
Based on the boost limits, what would need doing to achieve them or does the ecu handle it all? There's no external boost controller etc that I know of on the car.
I guess it's safe to assume that any restriction pills in the twins have probably been removed?

Thanks, I'm a lot less worried now. Yeah I'm keen to mount up the wideband as soon as I can.

I don't know if the listed boost is overboost fuel cut value or what the ECU is programmed to run as peak boost. Either way it is close to the limit of what the stock fuel system can handle with moderate intake/exhaust mods.

Best thing would be to fill up with 104 unleaded to protect the motor in case there is no overboost fuel cut programmed in, put the ECU in and find out. Boost gauge required to check of course.

Speaking of gas, the ECU has probably been tuned to Japanese high octane which was 100RON. I think this works out to around 95 octane on the US (Ron+Mon)/2 rating. You can mix in some 104 unleaded in your tank or put a couple bottles of Lucas Octane booster on each fill (can buy by case on Amazon for discount).
91 octane will NOT cut it at the listed boost with the advanced timing.

Typically the restrictor pills in the wastegate and pre-turbo control solenoids would be retained for electronic boost control and removed for manual boost control.

If you want great boost control and the ability to run lower boost (depending on mods and boost creep) and thus lower 91 octane fuel- you could bypass the two solenoids (and restrictor pills) and put in two Hallman Pro RX manual boost controllers and adjust them. This provides a great boost pattern with ability to have a near seamless 2ndary turbo transition.

Great thanks!
I'm in the UK where our premium is 98RON, hopefully that's close enough to the japenese 100RON. I've seen octane booster in store here, so may pick some up to do some testing.
Going to put together a bit of a shopping list this weekend and put together a plan.
