Plug and Play?
Well im sure im gonna get bashed for this question, but i still feel its valad. I want to put a stand alone in my 87' TII, But with the age of the car being taken into consideration... Im not really anxious to start cutting and splicing wires to install one. I know that a company (K2RD) That made (maybe still makes...) A "plug and play" harness for S5's ( Not S4s as per there web site. Does anyone make something similar for a quick clean install into a S4? Or do i just have to wait for Rtec 2.0 to come out?
:Wconfused |
i think the wiring will be the easy part
paying the money for a standalone would be most difficult in my eyes and the worst would be finding a respectable tuner that knows what they are doin just my $0.02 |
Not really worried about cost... Just looking for something thats easy to install. And by easier i mean i dont want to butcher my wiring harness. Just a nice clean install.

Im afraid that a SAFC wont support the HP goal i want, i suppose i should have mentioned that as well... Im looking for about 350HP or so... Something to break into the mid 12's....
I thought about Rtec and maybe Greddy Emanage ultimate but Rtec retards timing after stock boost is surpassed which leaves the emanage pretty usless for timing. I just like the "auto tune" feature, and the possablity of 2 maps one for street and one for race at the flick of a switch... Maybe Rtec 1.5 with Greddy emangage ultimate? Or just hold out for Rtec 2.0? there has got to be some other options!!! Come on anyone? |
good luck with that one
is there even anyone on the forum with 350rwhp without a EMS? |
