Haltech..how much???
 

How much and who is giving good deal on the kit?..
I have a 1987TII.. ALot of people use them and i was
once told to get one because of the mods i have.

Im new to Haltech and mildly modding my RX7!

Can anyone pls tell me how it works (HALTECH) and why it keeps
the motor from blowing up!

While im at this message i would like your opinion with the mods that i have that are waiting for a new motor. :)

All i want my 7 is to run 11-12 psi and capable of 300horses..
Street use with occasional drag racing..

RB exaust
RB light steel flywheel w/ ACT s/s clutch
hks intake
blitz bov
FMIC 20x8x2
RC injectors
TB mod

future mods:
bigger fuel pump
gauges
turbo timer
boost controller

still not sure if im going to go for streetport

will upgrading 89-91 stock turbo (COMPRESSOR UPGRADE H-TRIM)
be a good idea???.. I found a TO4B full turbo w/ HKS manifold but im not sure if i'll be pushing the car too much...

WITH MY MODS AND FUTURE MODS + COMPRESSOR UPGRADE WILL MY CAR BE CAPABLE OF RUNNING 12s?????

Hey man! I too have an 87t2 and I want to go Haltech as well. I don't know a lot but I'll tell ya what I do know. Haltech is a company that makes stand alone fuel and ignition computers. They have many different computers, their most advanced to date is called an E6HK. This seems to be the one I see our fellow rotormen using. It can be remotely tuned by laptop with a graph adjustment type interface(no tricky numbers to fill in). You can control LOTS!!!! of things with this computer. I hear they totally kick @ss. I don't want to supply you with any misinformation so I will direct you to www.Haltech.com. They tell more about what it can do. I beleive the price of an e6hk is around 1300us. Hope this helps

Cool..i always hear that most people use the E6K??..i guess that E6HK is more advance!...I will visit their website to see more about it. IS HALTECH only for offroad use though???

Sorry man, that was the E6K. If your still interested go to www.hitman.hm, they have a demo of the software and if/when you get a Haltech, they have quite a few maps you can download. And check out their prototype software!!!!!!! SWEET!!
