FuelTech
Why isn't there a Fueltech Forum yet? There are alot of Rotary-Powered cars running Fueltechs.
|
I've been wondering that too

Sponsor money
I think once fueltech start spend some money advertising here this forum may grow...

That's because there is nothing special about wiring it or configuring the software to run a rotary. It was quite simple.
just started cleaning up the spaghetti mess done by the previous owner.. first thing to figure out after is how to wire the isc... https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...95b40e34a8.jpg |
ISC is not supported by FT350

FuelTech
I made the switch from Haltech to FuelTech so far I think it was worth it. The boost controller in conjunction with CO2 is straight up bad ass. No need to spend on AMS Boost Controller.
Tuning very much similar to Haltech except primary and secondary injectors having their own table. Here is a video of my car starting from the ECU and a pic of my wiring harness. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...cbfec5d870.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...30343d2bba.jpg |
Fueltech
I can't so enough about my ft500. it's just been flawless. very easy to use. I am very surprised more have not made the switch. the rotary support is top notch. Anderson the owner of fueltech is crazy in love with rotarys too. |

How does the FuelTech do on a streetcar and can you retain the stock dash? I had heard it was good for drag racing. I still daily mine a lot and rarely if ever go to the dragstrip.

Somebody really should make a patch harness to adapt the Fueltech ECU over to the factory FD harness.
|
How does this compare to the haltech?
|
Love my ft350 ecu
No prior experience, i followed the how to's at fuelthech web and after a week finaly cranked up...
|
Why don't you just make a support thread like what I did for Emtron? A thread like this doesn't hold water...

Anybody knows why rpm signal would be set to "12-1(at crank) or 24-1-1(at cam)" instead of "12(at crank) or 24(at cam)"??? I just saw a 13b turbo with that setting. Isn't 12-1 a motorcycle setting?

Because it's using a single sensor with a missing tooth as both ref and sync rather than a 12 tooth wheel and sensor as ref and a second sensor as sync. |

Weird... The car has an FC CAS...
Could be a cas with a removed tooth and only using one of the mag pickups. Pop the cap off and look at how many teeth the lower wheel has on it. |
I saw this once in a Megasquirt. It's got 2 opposite teeth missing and only 2 wires connected.
