emanage help... ect setting

Hey guys i was wondering if any of the emanage guys had a problem with the presetting for the coolant temp sensor. when data logging mine was at 130c i think i might have a faulty sensor or a wiring problem. i think its also affecting my target a/f map cause the highest temp is 120 on there, also my car has never truely run right so maybe my sensor is bad. i just wanted to make sure that the emanage setting for the mazda coolant temp sensor was good. ill double check my splice at the ecu.. hopefully i dont have to pull the damn intake off again

thanks for any help guys

I'm using MZ_WT-1 for the water sensor.

In the Jumper settings section - it talks about setting jumpers with pull ups for the water and air temp - if you've wired in parallel with the stock ECU and using those sensors - leave the jumpers set to open (Jumpers 13 / 14)

Even then I found that the input impedance of the Emanage would load the sensor a little and cause the car to run just a little rich.

Hope that helps...

that does make sense i think i have a wiring problem though i believe i have the jumper set as a splice. ill check... but as for the display in the data logger it always reads 130? does yours? i also have it set to mz_wt-1.

thanks prof always there with some emanage help

When the sensor is shorted to ground for the air temp, I get really high readings -check the sensors and wiring.
