Air temp fuel correction table

water of course will yield significantly less charge air cooling and delivers more in the combustion chamber.

water will change your charge air temps to the point your air temp correction table will be a factor.

Will someone please help me understand this concept better? My initial thought is that you would want to measure the temperature after the cooling mechanism (meth or water) in order to compensate fuel for the denser air charge. The sensor is, after all, placed after the intercooler. This is obviously incorrect given the above discussion. Why wouldn't you measure the air temp after all cooling so as not to lean out with an unmeasured denser air charge?

My air temp fuel correction table below for reference. Thanks in advance!

btw, that correction factor looks wrong on hot side..
you lean the mixture when it gets hotter (air is less dense, needs less fuel).
you richen the mixture when it gets cold (air is denser, needs more fuel).
