About the E6S

Hey guys I just found a local guy thats selling a new E6S complete
with all the sensors for $800, and I just wanted to know if this is a good deal or not??
Also with the e6s I can controll fuel and timing right??
If so I can use it with a T60 and still have everything working like with the e6k???
Sorry for the questions its just that I cant find any info on the e6s.
Thanx guys

The E6S is a pretty good system. It doersn't have all of the features of the E6K--PWM outputs, etc.--but it will control your fuel and timing well. I've been in a 10 second car with an E6S and it ran really well. If it includes EVERYTHING you'll need then $800 isn't bad.

No problem. You may want to give RP in Texas a call. They're still selling the E6S on their website. Are you looking at one on the parts trader? My friend JUST called me and said he bought it.

the only problem with the E6S is if you are going to use the stock Crank Angle Sensor. I tried to get the S to work with my second gen CAS and it would not pick up the signal, I am not sure how well it works with the third gen CAS. If you build a chopper wheel and pick up bracket and use the S1 or S2 pick up from Haltech it will work just as well as the E6K but it won't have all the PWM functions.
