Elite Rotary Shop Full Intake System

Elite Rotary Shop Full intake system now available
All our products are designed and made 100% in the U.S.A
Our intake system is based off of the very Popular 13b RE Cosmo intake System, Designed to bolt right up to 13b REW & 13b Cosmo. Our intake system are casted out of 385 aluminum then heat treated for strength, with some great revisions as listed.

(1) FD Throttle body flange so you can just bolt up FD throttle body
(2) 4 secondary injector bungs
(3) Lower intake flange to block ported to match engine with plenty of room to make ports larger if desired.
(4) Straight equal runners for better flow
(5) 15mm shorter in height to clear stock FD hoods
(6) Designed to work on RX8 engine swaps to REW
(7) Larger Runner diameters to increase volume and flow

Full Elite Intake System $1,248.00

having held it in my hands yesterday...

there is just so much to like. being a "flow" guy first and foremost the aspect that jumped out at me is how perfectly engineered the entry into the engine port is...

both the OE and my Ground Zero/Excessive are greatly compromised w regard to the transition. this should significantly improve flow.

it is also built like a brick shiXhouse. :)

so many well thought out details like the boss for the fuel pressure regulator.

Great looking intake.. Job well done..
all we need now is a S5 Turbo II LIM to this ELITE UIM manifold :)....

Johnny Kommavongsa 09-23-16 10:26 AM

Very nice!

ThunderSprinter 09-23-16 01:46 PM

Nice looking product. Can your LIM be used with the factory FD UIM?

photoresistor 09-23-16 04:44 PM

Looks like some nicely done parts! Any plans to get before/after flow/dyno numbers? They'd be interesting to see, for sure...

cr-rex 09-23-16 04:53 PM

how do these lims with the extra injector ports work? you dont HAVE to use the other 2 ports right? would you just block them off or something? would it be possible to delete the primary rail and run the single rail than just block off the ports in the iron somehow?
:scratch::scratch::scratch:

shineautoproject 09-23-16 05:54 PM

That is very nice!

You can do either, look up CNC injector plug.

Normally you don't go with these setup unless you need to run all 6 injectors.

We are currently working on an adaptor plate to mount our entire Intake system onto an S4/S5 block

Neutron 09-24-16 03:06 AM

Very nice! Thanks for posting this here. It looks like there might be more turbine housing clearance for long runner manifolds vs. the Excessive LIM.

Won't the additional thickness of an adapter plate decrease turbo clearance? How much "thinner" is the Elite LIM than a stock S4/S5 LIM?

Vicoor 09-24-16 03:42 PM

How is it for clearance with "shorty" manifolds?

Monkman33 09-24-16 08:47 PM

I am willing to do a clearance test fit with a turblown manifold and an efr8374 (I can probabl get my hands on a 7670 for test fit as well.

Howard Coleman 09-25-16 10:48 AM

as mentioned in my previous post, i am about FLOW and maybe not so much about powdercoating if you get my drift. while some might be interested in the manifold due to its uniqueness, i am looking at what it will do powerwise.

that's why the lower runners turning into my ports immediately got my attention. neither the Ground Zero/Excessive or the OE manifold are optimum and this manifold is.

last year Sal, owner of Elite, made 614 rwhp (SAE)... (630 STD) with my motor ar 25.5 PSI using a GT4094r. i could see he had a power and RPM advantage using a Cosmo UIM/LIM over my Ground Zero LIM and OE FD UIM. his motor ran to 9500 making good power whereas my setup generally runs to 8950 making good power.

same turbos, same ports, same fuel.

DIFFERENT MANIFOLDING

O K, so the Cosmo seems to have an edge over the FD/Ground Zero.

now take a look at the Cosmo redesigned by Elite.

note the perfect symmetry of the runners compared to Sal's purple Cosmo LIM.

you probably don't need a flow bench or dyno to know the end of this movie.

I'm seriously impressed, ! When many of us taught that there was never to be again and than BAM the dream come true.

Elite, indeed.

100% behind this if someone shows pictures of clearance with a Turblown shorty and an 8374 IWG on an FD block.

Out of curiosity, how does it manage to mate up to both a Cosmo and FD engine? And how is low-end torque affected?

I'm going to have to ask the lads at FFE to exchange my 2 injector secondary rail for a 4 injector one...

efinimazda 09-27-16 06:03 PM

^also interested if it fits the turblown manifold + 8374

We were able to get in contact with Elliot from Turblown to send us one of his shorty manifolds for test fitment. We will update everyone once we receive the manifold with pictures.

To answer your question, how are we able to mate up to both engines?

We have over built our manifold with extra material, allowing us to change port sizes at the engine flange to accommodate both 13b REW and 13b RE Cosmo engine ports with no issues.

Thank you

FD throttle body? What about people like me with RW throttle bodies or stock RE units?

Joeylrech

Yes we designed our intake to use Stock FD throttle body, very easy to come by.

RW (Rotary Works)Throttle body for an FD will bolt right up, any throttle body that will bolt up to a stock FD upper intake system will bolt up to our intake.

We also designed our intake system to be able to interchange with cosmo intake parts. Example Our upper will bolt up to a Cosmo lower, Our lower will bolt up to a Cosmo upper. Hope this helps if you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to ask

Thank you

Turblown has sent us one of their EFR turbo manifolds for fitment testing with our intake system. All EFR turbo's fit with no issues, Only the 9180 requires a slight little trim on V band clamp edge on the front compressor. All other EFR Turbos fit with no problems.:icon_tup:
